We use the name 'Music Group' rather than 'Worship group', as we believe that the whole church is the 'Worship Group' and we are just the ones who God has gifted in leading music, which enables the Worshipping Group to WORSHIP. We seek to lead our lives in such a way that worship is a moment-by-moment experience, allowing the Lord to use that experience in helping the body of the church in their public worship, week by week. This moment-by-moment experience of worship is what produces the out flowing of worship from hearts that are ready and prepared to be used by God in this public way. If there are blockages between an individual and the Lord, or between one individual and another in the group, worship will be hindered and become a performance rather than a heart felt experience of glorifying God. We seek to be open with God and each other, so that together, as a group, God may use us to His Glory in helping to lead the church in worship. Being a member of the music group is not a hit and miss occupation. It requires a definite level of commitment, both to each other in the group and to the ministry to which God has called us. Regular attendance at the preparation time each week is essential as this is not merely a time for preparing the music for Sunday, but also a time of devotion together, preparing ourselves too.
